The Dirty Dealer is an educational piece focusing on microbial organisms, many of which are encountered by us everyday. While some of these organisms can be harmful, many are necessary for us to live and more still are used for great accomplishments in the medical and food processing industries. The harmful stigma attached to these micro-organisms is often unwarranted to the point that many dread the idea of contact with them, often viewed as a plague or a sickness. Likewise, gambling also often contains this negative association in our society. The Dirty Dealer links these two together by dealing cards to players in large amounts that each represents a common or well known microbe whether it be a bacterium, virus, or noble protozoan; in order to spread knowledge about these often mis-represented organisms.
