This work focuses on natural sounds found in a urban environments. Embedded in the song are layered sounds of humans mimicking natural sounds and the ambiance of the urban landscape. The sounds are filtered through a digital medium, distorted and placed in a rhythmic arrangement.

Charles’ work focuses on the intertwining of sound and visual expression. His work is a search for connection and reflection. Starting out as a “Super Dope Beat Maker’” and visual artist Charles transitioned to a digital medium. He takes digital content through an extensive process of layering, deconstruction and reduction in complexity to create a history and provide character to all his pieces.
